Busco Voice is your spot for news

Posted on 18 June 2008

Welcome to Buscovoice.com!

This new community-based Web site - launched June 21 - has already been visited by former Busco residents in Florida, California, Nevada, as well as soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq.

What we strive to do is put a face and a story to all of the people in your hometown of Churubusco, Indiana - accessible not only to the 2,000 people in and around Churubusco, but to Busco-connected people around the world, as well.

In addition to local news, check us out for in-depth feature articles, obituaries, police reports, local sports, online polls and much more.

The site will be updated daily with community happenings, photos and video. The community’s voice may be heard through the public forum or opinion page and the Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down page. Readers are also welcome to send in their life news - births, engagements, weddings, church news, etc.

Viv’s Scribbles, a humor column by award-winning writer and reporter, Vivian Sade Rosswurm, will be available weekly.

In partnership with our county Web news partner, talkofthetown.com in Columbia City and South Whitley’s new soon-to-be-launched site, residents will soon have Web access to all of the happenings in Whitley County.

In the near future, look for some fun pages and photos featuring people you know, places you’ve been and things you’ve heard.

Hard copies or photo reprints will be available at the Gonink Design office in Churubusco (behind Subway on U.S. 33 South).

Buscovoice is your community, your news and your voice. Use it.

For more information on the Web site, call Chris at Gonink Design & Print at 312-0126 or Sarah at 515-4595. If you have a story or photo for the site call Viv at 241-7737.
