The stands were full. The weather was gorgeous. The seniors were honored. The Colts cheerleaders were signing autographs. And the Eagles won.
It doesn’t get much better than that.
The Busco Eagles triumphed over Lakeland Friday night, 42-7.
Before the game, the Indianapolis Colts - who are traveling Indiana and visiting high school football games - set up a display trailer and Colts cheerleaders signed autographs for eager fans.
The senior athletes of all fall sports were honored and escorted onto the track in front of the grandstands by their parents and/or guardians.
Curt Bonar sent us this link for those whould like to view the Churubusco photos posted on the Colts Web site.

Congrats to the football team on a stellar regular season and to all of the seniors honored Friday night.
But can we stop reserving seats days before the game? Why can’t it just be first come, first serve?

Jeff A.- I agree with your 110% on the seat deal. Sad that the school cannot lock the gate as they did 5-6 years ago and be on a first come first serve bases. Why can’t the parents/ grandparents/ fans walk in gate as it opens the night of the game and get there seats? WHY is the Gate open to start with before the game? Just Sad Sad Sad!!!
