2130 – Unit 1 and 2, Signal 8 (meet) at Windsor Drive again – People there to return things. Found nothing.
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 18
1:46 a.m. – Whitley County dispatch, 911 call, Windsor Drive people on roof again, nobody there.
7:41 and10:01 a.m. – School checks.
10:26 a.m. – Out at Windsor Drive, 911 call, nothing wrong.
12:30 and 2:30 p.m. – School checks.
3 p.m. – Unit 1, citations for following too closely and learner’s permit violation to M. Lowry.
6:30 p.m. – Town council meeting.
10:38 p.m. – Whitley County dispatch – 911 hang up at C.R. 750E residence.
10:45 p.m. – Checked out – just phone problems.
THURSDAY FEBRUARY 19
1130a.m. – School check.
5 p.m. – Unit 1- Van on lot of BP gas station possibly asking people for money. He has been there 40 minutes and is making the employees nervous. Spoke with driver who stated he was waiting for the business to forward more money to his gas card. He was a little goofy, so I told him he needed to leave.
8 p.m. – Whitley County dispatch, Unit 11, Meet at Dollar General Store in reference to needing help to secure a door.
8:10 p.m. – Was able to help.
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 20
11 a.m.- Unit 1, school check.
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 21
3:54 p.m.- Unit 2, issued a gun permit to A. Gordon.
10:15 p.m. – School game security check.
8:15 p.m. Whitley County dispatch, Unit 2, Suspicious vehicle reported at BP gas station. Checked, no vehicle there.
8:40 p.m. Whitley County dispatch, lock out on Staunton Ave.
SUNDAY FEBRUARY 22
11:30 a.m. – Unit 3, Whitley County dispatch, Meet in the area of West Whitley Street in reference to Rottweiler running loose with no collar on.
12:30 p.m. verbal warning for speeding to N. McCroskey-Hreeov.
11 p.m. – Whitley County dispatch, Unit 4, Subject is at the day care center on Home Avenue and the door is unlocked and he can’t get it locked. We had no information on a key holder, so I called Unit 3. He stated he had a key and his daughter was going to bring it up. I went and talked with subject and he actually had a key, but it would not work. I fgot the key to work and advised Unit 3.
11:23 p.m. – Verbal warning for speeding to P. Dunn of Fort Wayne.
11:20 p.m. – While on the traffic stop, two vehicles pulled up behind me and stated there was a male walking southbound on U.S. 33 north of my location in a green jacket and there was a truck on the side of the road near U.S. 33 and CR 650E.
11:25 p.m. – Picked up the male of Churubusco and polaced him i my car until I could find out what was going on with the truck … he stated he was just the passenger.
11:34 p.m. – Out with the truck. No one around and no keys. No keys on subject in car. Footprints on passenger side of truck matched his. I turned the hazard lights on in the truck and took male home.
MONDAY FEBRUARY 23
12:39 a.m. – Unit 4, Arrested J. McQueen of Greenfield, Ind. for driving while suspended with a prior for the same and operating while intoxicated.
8:50, 10:20 a.m. – School checks.
9:30 a.m. – Allen County dispatch, Assist on slide off of U.S. 33 north of McDuffee Road. Had Rohrer’s Towing pull her out.
10:13 p.m. – Whitley County dispatch reporting fight at Pit Stop Pizza.
10:14 p.m. – Unit 4 arrived at scene. Male got into a verbal altercation with a subject, but he left without any problems and the bartender didn’t want anything done.
