Courageous Kids Talent Show at This Year’s Beds & Britches Extravaganza

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (June 12, 2009) – Bring the entire family for a day of fun at the Annual Beds & Britches Extravagaza. The event will be held at the Whitley County’s YMCA soccer field Saturday, June 20 at 4 p.m. The first 100 children who arrive will receive a free t-shirt.

Beds & Britches, Etc. (B.A.B.E.) will be hosting its second annual Beds & Britches Extravaganza.

“Last year was so much fun for families of Whitley County, it was a given to bring it back this year,” said B.A.B.E.’s director Shawn Ellis.

From giant inflatables, to a dunk tank with celebrities like South Whitley Elementary School principal George Roth, principal Bob Hoke from Northern Heights Elementary, Scott Frazier from Dance Till U Drop, principal Danny Curless from Little Turtle Elementary, Jackie Stahl from the YMCA and several others.

There also will be a raffle, family friendly food at family friendly prices, and the motivational, inspirational and educational rapper, Six 8 for entertainment. Six 8 is known for rap songs such as, “Reading All Summer Long”, “Pull Your Pants Up”, “The Lincoln Rap” and numerous others.

The newest event this year is the Courageous Kids Talent Show, and B.A.B.E. is searching for children from Pre-K to age 12 that has talents such as: singing, dancing, magic tricks, comedy acts, drawing, etc. Whatever the talent, tykes and their parents can register by calling B.A.B.E. at 260-244-2820 and/or downloading the registration form at www.bedsandbritches.com. Forms along with a $5 registration fee are due no later then Wednesday, June 17.
