George I. Welsh, 46, passed away, Friday, June 26, 2009 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Born in Columbus, OH, he was a machinist with B & J Specialties. He was a member of Crosspointe Community Church and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Welsh of Fort Wayne; father, Donald E. Welsh of Churubusco; daughters, Audree (Chad) Ousley of Huntington, and Diana Welsh of Columbia City; step-sons, Matthew Weingartner, and Johnathan Weingartner both of Fort Wayne; brothers, Brian Welsh of Greenwood, and Ron Welsh of Mooresville, NC; brothers-in-law, Kevin Yoder, and Todd Yoder both of Leo; parents-in-law, Louis and Maggie Yoder of Fort Wayne. George was preceded in death by his mother, Lauradel Welsh.
