Phyllis P Miller

Phyllis P Miller, age 90, a lifelong resident of rural Columbia City, Indiana died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Phyllis was born December 18, 1918, in Fort Wayne, Indiana a daughter of the late Paul and Alta (Hawk) Egolf. She was a graduate of the Churubusco High School with the class of 1936, and had worked as a seamstress at the Blue Bell in Columbia City, Indiana until her marriage to John H. Miller on June 26, 1940. Her memberships include the Blue River Church of the Brethren, where she served as a sunday school teacher, bible school teacher, organist, and church camp counselor. She enjoyed knitting, working in the yard and with flowers. She volunteered at the Whitley County Hospital.
