andy was in my youth group wen i was younger as was megan and they were great role models. andy was quick with a joke to make everybody to laugh and megan was very bright. they are blessed to have such a strong town surronding them my thoughts and prayers are out to the family and close friends. they are all in a better place

This is the horrible, gut-wrenching side of covering the news. Our hearts stop everytime we hear a siren. Is it serious? Will it be someone we know? Will it be one of our own family members? Will it be a friend of one of our family members?
In this case, yes to three of the four.
Our hearts break for the families of Megan and Andy. Such beautiful, talented young people – a true loss for our community and for these two families.
May God comfort you and carry you during this terrible time of anguish and heartbreak.

To the Spencer and Young family: I am so sorry about your loss that words can’t even begin to describe. I have know Andy since the 6th grade and even though we never talked I know he was a good guy. They both were great people and will never be forgotten. God bless you all.

TO the Young and Spencer family I am sooo sorry about ur loss. I never got teh privlage to meet Magan, but I lived down the St from Andy and his family all through my high school days and I can just remember that he will be missed as well as Magan Young. PLEASE remember they r BOTH in a better place and will be their family’s guardian angels till the day u all meet again in heaven.

There are no words that can be said to take away the pain and the loss that both of your families are feeling and dealing with. Andrew and Megan will be missed but they will never be forgotten.

Please remember that as you are down here on HIS earth, feeling the loss, the pain and wondering how you are going to get through all of this, please remember that HE is with you every step of the way. Please also know that both of these young children are sitting at the right hand side of GOD, at HIS table and that one day you will be with your children once again.

Growing up with these two kids this was a blow to me. I send my condolences from the entire Churubusco High School. The Young and Spencer families had two truly amazing kids that will never be forgotten. Everyone at Churubusco’s school is sad and shocked. We love them. We will miss them. They will forever lay in our hearts.

me and megan grew up together.she was the cheerful one. we were always on a team together. she will be missed so much, this sucks alot of great people have left busco in the past 6 years, first drew, then sam, now megan and andy. andy was a great guy always had a smile on his face, i know him and my brother were close as can be. you guys will NEVER be forgotten. my prayers are with everyone. I am so incredibly sorry for the loss these families now have to face, but I am comforted to know that they live in a strong community who will surround them with love and faith.

My heart and prayers go out. I laid in bed last night with that same sick feeling i had 16 years ago. I will continue to pray that you can manage the pain and your families can lean on each other.
There is no greater loss than that of a child.
