Doubles team receives All-State Honorable Mention

Alex McDowell and Ryan Mey, the Churubusco High School tennis doubles team who recently finished up an astounding season,  have received the 2009 Boys All-State Doubles Honorable Mention.

The two seniors can add this latest accomplishment to their long list of sports achievements this year, including: NECC champions; Sectional champions; Regional qualifiers; All-Area District 2; as well as setting new school records for the season, for conference, and for career wins.

After graduation, McDowell plans to attend Indiana University or Indiana State and major in business. Mey plans to attend college, play tennis and major in sports/fitness.
