Thumbs down to the town library

… to the way I was treated at the town library.

I went in there Friday, Nov. 13, to use a computer. After entering the library, I was standing at the counter waiting for some assistance.

The librarian had her back turned to me, while she was doing something on her computer. After some time had passed and she failed to acknowledge me, I took it upon myself to sign in to use the computer.

The librarian then came over and proceeded to be very rude to me and tell me not to reach for anything over the counter. I felt as if I was being treated like a 5-year-old.

This is the last time I will use our town library, as I don’t feel my actions warranted being spoken to in that manner.

  1. Just a thought.... says:

A simple ‘Excuse Me’ probably would have caused her to turn her head and this whole problem could have been averted….just my two cents…
