The Columbia City Rotary Club is hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner for the community Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Whitley County 4-H Center.

With the help of volunteers, the meal will be prepared and will include turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry salad and pies.

Everyone is invited to attend – especially those who cannot afford dinner or those who have no where else to go…or those who have no one else to enjoy the meal with…because, after all, the community will come together as a family on Thursday.

Meal deliveries are available for those who are homebound throughout Whitley County.

A free will donation will be accepted, but is not required. Volunteers are needed to join Columbia City Rotary Club members in preparing the meal. To volunteer or request a meal delivery to your home, contact Bob Cornmesser at 260-244-5234.praying-hands_
