Stanley E. Gregory, 83, a resident of Fort Wayne, died unexpectedly at 10:30 a. m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at the family residence from the result of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Gregory was born in Bloomington, Illinois on April 11, 1926, a son of Herbert W. and Lula Bell [Grubb] Gregory, and spent his formative years in Bryan Ohio.
As a young man he served with the U. S. Navy during World War II, was formerly employed at Fruehauf Trailer Company in Fort Wayne, and was also engaged in farming for a period. He retired as the president and general manager of Truck Transport Equipment in Fort Wayne in 1988 after 26 years.
On October 1, 1945 he was married in Fort Wayne to Margaret Baker. She survives.
