An open letter to the vendors and buyers at the Buy Local Bazaar at Faith Christian Academy last weekend:
Thank you all for making this such a great annual event. Our vendors once again had made great items – from jewelry, to framed original photographs, to hand made Christmas Cards, handmade afghans, pillows, towels, hats, baby head bands, information on organic meat, and even more.
There was so much great merchandize that we actually looked better than bazaars I have seen in Israel. And buyers – buyers – buyers – we had buyers. All day long, and you all scooped up some great bargains!
All in all I think the appropriate saying is – WIN – WIN.
We look forward to seeing you next year – once again where you can “Buy Local!”
Also, on Sunday night, Nov. 22, the congregations of the Churubusco Church of the Nazarene, United Methodist Church, Collins UMC and Green Center UMC joined together in a true Thanksgiving service.
Each church provided a very special musical number. Each of the pastors read a short portion of scripture. And we sang about 20 hymns picked by folks in attendance.
We all were blessed, and God was glorified. What a truly great worship we had.
