Churubusco fire, police, EMS and Whitley county police were called to the intersection of U.S. 33 & Blue Lake Road Friday afternoon for an accident that sheered a pole and closed down the highway for over an hour.
One person did complain of pain.
The accident remains under investigation.

Each time traffic becomes heavy on our county line road, I know someone has suffered an accident on Hwy. 33. The power outage was no inconvenience, but knowing someone might be hurt (or worse) brings me to prayer. Be careful out there y’all!
