Alton H. Grimm, 72 of Huntertown, died, Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 7:10 a.m. at The Saint Joseph Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born October 16, 1937 in Merriam, Indiana to the late Jesse and Rachel Marcel Snoke Grimm. On September 9, 1960 at the First Christian Church in Kendallville he married Sandra Leonhardt, she survives in Huntertown. He had lived in Huntertown for the last 47 years.
He worked for 5 years at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, then worked for Stratoflex in Fort Wayne for over 30 years as a personnel manager. He also drove school bus for 15 years for the Northwest Allen School District.
Alton loved to be outdoors, looking at old classic cars, woodworking and spending time with his family. When his children were younger he was Cub Scout Leader of Huntertown Pack # 3055 and was a T-Ball and Softball Coach.
