COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. – The Christian Faith Walk 2009 is a time of celebration. It is a chance to celebrate and to be thankful and to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. This year’s event will take place Friday, December 11, from 5-8 p.m. at the Etna Troy Community Center.

Participants will walk for 100 minutes. Throughout that time, there will be pizza, games, music, prizes, and more to help encourage everyone on their journey. The walk will center on the theme “Happy Birthday, Jesus!” and will remind all of the true meaning of the season.

Participants will be given information letters to hand out to friends and family asking them to sponsor them in the walk. Proceeds from the event will benefit Faith Christian Academy of Whitley County and best of all, all donations will be matched up to $2,500! That means that for every dollar you raise, $2 will be donated to Faith Christian Academy. Every Faith Walk 2009 participant will also leave with a special Happy Birthday Jesus present.
