The Smith-Green School Board will hold a regularly scheduled board meeting Monday, June 21 and an executive session immediately after.

The end of the school year brings some much desired fun and R&R for many students. Some end-of-the-year events at Churubusco Middle School include Kitty Hawk, Struggle Day, and Awards Day.

The Smith-Green Community Schools Board of Trustees will meet Monday, June 7 for a regularly scheduled board meeting and two executive sessions.

Churubusco Middle School will hold its annual awards program Wednesday, June 2 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium to recognize student achievements for this school year. The public is invited to attend and support the students.

The May 17 School Board Meeting brought adjustments to the Support Staff Handbook, new desks and chairs for the fourth grade, and new hires. Anna Bulmahn, Valerie Pope, and Maggie Kitt, 3 middle schoolers were also honored in the “Spotlight on Success.”

Smith-Green Community Schools and The Eagle Garden Committee invites the public to attend the dedication of the new “The Eagle Garden” and “Our Guardian Eagle Walkway” this Thursday, May 20.
