In August, Churubusco Police had to deal with counterfeit money, a naked, drunk pedestrian walking on Anderson Road, a liquor store clerk who “lost it” when a customer asked for a sack and a newlywed wife who took her husband to the police station for counseling.

Driving while intoxicated calls stayed stead while property damage accidents were up from July. Criminal arrests have continued to drop since a high of 59 in May.
