If dancing is about choreographing the right moves – the move Dance Til U Drop is about to execute has been very well thought out.
Owners Scott and April Frazier are now putting the finishing touches on what will soon become a fine arts academy in Columbia City, transforming a building that began as a John Deere showroom-turned church into a center for dance and music.

For Frazier, talent runs in the family. Frazier’s father, Ron Frazier, is well known in South Whitley for his music. Throughout the county, the younger Frazier is known for his dance talent and skill as an instructor, teaching a variety of dance courses for children and adults.

“We’ve wanted to move for a long time,” Frazier said, looking around at the freshly hung drywall inside his new dance academy on West Business 30 in Columbia City. The Fraziers purchased the building and the 1.7-acre site in early September and began internal reconstruction immediately – a process that has resulted in three music lesson rooms, four dance classrooms, office space, performance space, restrooms and more. Additionally, there will be a recording studio on site.
