WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (Nov. 2009) — The Columbia City Chamber along with Salvation Army and Purdue Extension office announce that in lieu of collecting food for Christmas this year, area businesses and individuals can make a difference through sponsorship of a ‘Signature Box’, courtesy of Angel Food Ministries.
AFM is a non-profit organization providing “blessings by the box” to families nationwide, and this program is part of a county-wide food outreach called Meet the Need 2009.
Individual and organizations can sponsor by contributing for the prepaid ‘Signature Boxes’.
- ‘Signature Box’ is $30 – feeds a family of four for a week
- ‘Senior Box’ is $28 – contains 10 premade meals
Orders must be placed and paid for by Wednesday, Dec. 9.
Checks must be made to Eagle Quest AFM (or note Angel Food Ministries on check)
